Science is any system of knowledge that is concerned with the physical world and its phenomena and that entails unbiased observation and systematic experimentation. In general, science involves the pursuit of knowledge covering general truth or the operation of fundamental laws.
Natural science is one of the branches of science concerned with the description, understanding and prediction of natural phenomenon, based on empirical evidence from observation and experimentation. Natural science is divided into three branches which are Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Physics is the natural study of matter, involving the study of matter, its fundamental constituents, its motion and behaviour through space and time and the related entities of energies and force. Physics is one of the most fundamental scientific disciplines, with its main goal being to understand how the universe behaves.

Chemistry is the scientific study of the properties and behaviour of matter. It covers the elements that make up matter to the compounds made of atoms, molecules and ions; their composition, structure, properties, behaviour and the changes they undergo during a reaction with other substances. Chemistry also addresses the nature of chemical bonds in chemical compounds. In the scope of its subject, chemistry occupies an intermediate position between physics and biology
Biology is the scientific study of life. It has a broad scope but there are several unifying themes that tie it togethor. For instance, all organisms are made up of cells that process hereditary information encoded in genes to future generations, energy processing is important to life as it allows organisms to move grow and reproduce. Finally all organisms are able to regulate their own internal enviroments.

The Science department at St. Pamachius Inclusive Secondary School has three teachers, Mr. Ebenezer Shao, Mr. Juvenali Marcelin and Ms. Janeth Mlelwa. The department is responsible for the teaching of three subjects which are Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
